Hungary striker Barnabas Varga is stable in hospital after suffering a facial injury in a mid-air collision with Scotland goalkeeper during their Euro 2024 clash.
The forward was taken from the field on a stretcher in the second half. The extent of his injuries is not yet known, but he is expected to undergo surgery.
The incident occurred during a Group A match between the two sides. Varga was attempting to head the ball when he collided with the goalkeeper.
The Hungary team doctor said: "Barnabas is stable in hospital. He has suffered a facial injury, but we are still waiting for the results of the scans.
We will provide an update on his condition as soon as we have more information."
